I was relieved to leave my turbulent 20's behind and hit my 30's ... I know you'll always "mom" your kids but hang in there. And are you still set on your small house? Not all bad...lol...don't you remember how I would drive over and sit in the parking lot at NH and wait for you to get out of school...so we could spend some quality time together shopping? And what about the yearly prom dressing trips so I could spend a couple of hundred dollars on the perfect dress....mmmmmm.

Awwww - look at that box turtle! I love all those memories - I remember when we poured the pond and how we always had a mean mud turtle in there. I remember stepping in barefoot to feed them earthworms and them snapping at my toes. And peeing on my hand.

Madeline was my favorite!

And I think I heard that they are remaking the Ninja turtle movies? I watched TMNT II with Kirk over labor days. It was a cinematic gem as Aaronus would say.

What did you do your deck with? We used treated decking boards and I'm wondering if we should have gone with something less toxic. Everyone says nothing else "lasts" but I'm sure they didn't have treated decking boards on all of those old cabins and bars I still see standing in these parts.

oh, i have begged jarrad to put up a line out back! we had a dryer growing up, but my mom (and i) regularly hung clothes out, especially in the summer. the nice thing is that we could stick 'em back in the dryer for 5-10 minutes to make them soft...cheating a little, i guess haha...

I did just check out her site and I have to admit that I'm loving the pink as well - especially the poinsettias and that christmas tree made with all the circles - and I like the swirls too.

And you know me, I love lime green with the christmas colors!

I am thinking I'm definitely going to get my fall stuff out this week. I still really need to get my apartment all finished up so I can post the pics, and just be done with it all. That's my goal for this week.

Yes, I just cleaned the buffet off to set up the Halloween stuff. I have been feeling festive for the last several days. And going out to stores that have been decorated has only made me feel more festive-lol!

I love the kraft paper set ones too. I've been online - trying to find more - most places are out of that size. I think Christmas cards could be very pretty on them. Did you check out Nichole's site for Christmas ideas - I definitely love the pink! And I have never been one to like pink at Christmas..I probably won't do pink, but I can certainly see the lime green, burgundy, etc.
